Set in the most beautiful surroundings the Algarve boasts some of the best championship golf courses in the whole of Europe, Luz Clara offers an ideal location for golfers and their families with dozens of top quality courses all within half an hours’ drive.

Quinta do Lago,Vale do Lobo, Pinherios Altos, Villa sol, Villamoura, are excellent 18 hole courses within 5 minutes drive. Enough to lift every ones game.

Horse Riding

There are a selection of excellent riding stables throughout the Algarve which provide exhilarating riding experiences. Study our Information Pack on your arrival to arrange your bookings.

Quad/Motorbike/4 x4 Hire

There are numerous companies offering a wide range of ‘adrenalin pumping’ days out to test your motoring skills. Luz Clara’s Information Pack will supply information required to arrange bookings.

Cities

The Algarve is littered with historic towns and cities set in beautiful breath taking surroundings. All are an easy drive from Luz Clara.

Examples:

• Faro to the south – 15 minutes

• Loule to the north – 5 minutes

• Silves to the west – 70 minutes

• Sagres to the west – 140 minutes

• Lisbon to the north – 2 hours by train from Faro.
